Workshop conducted by Dr Khong Kok Sun (Trauma, Tumour, Minimal Invasive Surgery & Joint Reconstruction) and Dr Winston Chew (Hand Surgeon)

This course is specially catered to general practitioners who perform simple repair of lacerations and minor surgery that can be safely performed in the clinic. The principles of skin closure, the different techniques of suturing and the different materials used for suturing will be taught. The highlight is the practical hands-on session for participants to practice under the guidance of the specialist faculty. Factors affecting wound healing and care of the wound will also be covered.
