Dear patients,

Please note the following are screening criteria for Farrer Park Medical Centre (FPMC) in view of COVID-19:

The following will routinely NOT be admitted to FPMC AND/OR FPH:
1) All recent travellers who have returned to SG within the last 14 days regardless of the country they visited
2) All persons who have had close contact* with recent travellers who have returned to SG within the last 14 days regardless of the country they visited
3) All persons who have had close contact* with persons on Quarantine, SHN or LOA within the last 14 days
4) All persons who had close contact* with a case of COVID-19 infection within the last 14 days
5) All persons who have fever or new onset respiratory symptoms (eg. cough, phlegm, runny nose, difficulty in breathing and/or sore throat) – they will be referred to the FPH Emergency Clinic Holding Bay

*Close contact is defined as:
1. Having provided care for the contact person/patient
2. Staying in the same place (eg.home) as the contact person/patient
3. Having been close (<2metres) for >30min with a contact person/patient

EXPLANATORY NOTE
Should any patient, accompanying person or visitor at the Triage Station be disallowed routine entry into FPMC and/or FPH, but there are good and urgent health/medical reasons to permit access, they will be referred to the FPH Emergency Clinic Holding Bay for review. Importantly all urgent health and medical problems will be attended to as the overriding priority.
